Key job responsibilities
1. Lead the AMER DCPD Month-End Close (MEC) consolidation process, ensuring insightful variance analysis and explanations are provided to executive management (finance and business) for Monthly Financial Reviews (MFR). Act as the FP&A point of contact for AMER DCPD MFR.
2. Establish and manage DCPD Finance benchmarking and dashboard activities, providing accurate and timely reporting to key stakeholders, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
3. Drive the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for DCPD, ensuring consistent financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
4. Leverage financial systems such as Cognos/TM1, Alteryx, Blueprint, and others to conduct deep-dive analysis and summarize results in response to leadership needs.
5. Help driving the financial planning/budgeting activities for AMER DCPD team

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of Tableau
- Experience with cube engine tools (e.g. TM1, Cognos or Essbase), SQL and Data warehouse
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritizing workloads and partnering cross-functionally, while delivering against tight deadlines.
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 3+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
- Experience as a lean sensei, or experience working as a Quality Assurance Engineer
