Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) helps drive the success of small and historically underrepresented business populations (including minority-, women-, and veteran-owned businesses). As a part of the USBA, Amazon has committed to empower Black-owned businesses through the Black Business Accelerator (BBA), which provides access to resources that support their growth in Amazon’s store. A key offering of BBA is the Amplify program - a cohort-based education program that provides Black-owned businesses with education, business coaching, and account management support.

We are seeking a program manager who is a high-judgment, business oriented and self-motivated professional. The candidate embraces ambiguity and ramps up quickly on complex issues. They thrive implementing process improvements mechanisms that improve the seller experience. As a member of the USBA education and benefits team, they will work with members across the team to establish systems that enable successful execution of USBA benefits. They will support the team to streamline back end processes such as data collection, reimbursements and communications. They will work across the USBA team and collect data that informs the larger benefit strategy. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, extremely organized, and collaborative. The candidate will think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the experience of USBA participants. They will utilize their attention to detail, experience in program management, and excellent written communication skills to ensure high quality results.

Key job responsibilities

• Creates, optimizes and drives adoption of critical mechanisms required to scale USBA benefits
• Designs and leads the curation of learning guides that support the growth of Black businesses within BBA
• Works across teams to collect data that informs USBA benefits improvement process
• Oversees and manages the USBA benefit review process
• Manages vendor relationships to execute learning guides and BBA resources
• Tracks and reports program learnings and effectiveness to internal stakeholders
• Drives cross-functional alignment to achieve strategic program goals
• Looks around corners to spot emerging issues and proactively lead the development and execution of solutions as it relates to USBA benefits

About the team
The Undiscovered Small Business Accelerator (USBA) team works to help selling partners and customers discover the best of Amazon using data and insights to invent, test, and scale strategies that drive financial and perception goals. We understand there are systemic barriers that have limited the education and access for underserved business to grow and scale within Amazon. The BBA Amplify team is committed to addressing those systemic barriers by providing Black and underrepresented businesses with access to education, business coaching, opportunities for strategic capital, and networks.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of program or project management experience
- 4+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 4+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
