Position Title: IT App Dev Engr II

Location: Arlington, Virginia


Position Responsibilities:

Development, configuration, and administration of Coupa and Snaplogic. Responsible to/from master and transactional data integration with other Amazon databases/systems/services. Responsible for developing in Visualforce, Apex, Java, AJAX, JavaScript, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support business requirements and drive key business decisions. Setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit, integration, end to end and systems), and iterative refinement. Seek out ways to utilize Coupa to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace. Perform technical analysis, level-of-effort estimation, design, development, implementation of applications with necessary customizations and integration. Perform Coupa systems maintenance, environment refresh, data integration duties. Evaluating complex business and technical requirements, communicating inherent security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical business owners. Responsible for the company’s relationship with Coupa and the setup and administration of Coupa. Create Coupa design specs and configure Coupa objects, fields, and functionality. Gather business requirements from a diverse number of users and translate requirements into scalable solutions. Stay current with Coupa releases and corresponding documentation. Handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Position Requirements:

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered, as a Coupa developer, Coupa Platform Developer I, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, as a Coupa Developer, or Coupa Platform Developer I, or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and one year of experience. Must have one (1) year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) demonstrated knowledge of and experience with the Coupa architecture and API; (2) experience with integrations and knowledge of integration patterns using REST & SOAP, JSON& XML, or related; (3) ability to design, code, test, debug, and maintain software applications; (4) demonstrated knowledge of integrations, third-party integration tools, and ETL with Coupa; (5) ability to communicate with, and present data to, both technical and business teams. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.

40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $138,748/year to $160,000/year
