Key job responsibilities
As NA Stores counsel, you will:
- Directly advise business leadership and influence the direction of the business.
- Advise on a broad range of product, commercial, and regulatory matters, such as ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, leading implementation for new regulations, considering legal issues of first impression, negotiating contracts, and supporting strategic business relationships.
- Support the launch of strategic Store initiatives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
