This role will be responsible for maintaining and building relationships with business units and potential partners across the globe. They will create a bridge between the business unit’s M&E plan and AM&E’s service model and optimization plan and will focus on fostering and maintaining strong partner relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their unique needs, preferences, challenges and forecasted events, while driving programmatic improvements and adaptations.

Key job responsibilities

• Manage Customer Engagement lead(s)

• Develop and maintain foundational documents that define the BP framework
• Oversee development/maintenance of org profiles for business units
• Establish rhythm of business for business organizations using the M&E program, integrating AT&E into the business units’ planning processes
• Oversee development/maintenance of standardized monthly AM&E reporting package, customized for each business org.
• Reporting package should drive and enable discussion on future M&E service needs and forecasted spend/volume.
• Oversee development/maintenance of internal web page for BP functions
• Oversee development/maintenance of issue resolution and escalation, including SLAs for addressing escalations.

• Develop/maintain a ‘trusted advisor’ relationship with business unit leadership, understanding both their immediate and future M&E needs and then aligning AM&E priorities to support those needs.
• Drive awareness of the AM&E program, policies and resources.
• Drive conversion of business units to the AM&E program.
• Maintains a sustainability mindset in all activity.
• Integrate other corporate partners into key deliverables/processes, as needed.
• Partner with appropriate AT&E leads to provide M&E thought leadership, industry best practices, and market insights to the business unit’s leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience working with Meeting and Event or Hospitality industry

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- International meeting & event experience valued.
- Proficiency with software tools like Smartsheet, Quip, Mural, Workdocs, Visio, Cvent, Groupize, or other meetings management technology systems desirable.
- Advanced user-experience with common Meeting Management technology is a plus.
- Certification such as CMP (certified meeting professional) or other industry certification valued.
