Key job responsibilities
• Continuously gather APO, Partner, Field, and Customer insights to refine areas of focus for the I&PS COE strategy, ensuring I&PS COE efforts remain closely aligned to addressing customer and partner opportunities and challenges.
• Qualify the impact of candidate initiatives against partner cohorts and the worldwide partner community overall.
• Prioritize and align leadership to high-impact candidates to increase APO and partner performance.
• Design mechanisms, best practices, processes, and governance models to address gaps and opportunities in focus (strategic initiatives); leading the implementation and delivery of these strategic initiatives, via hands-on engagement with stakeholders and via orchestrating cross-functional teams.
• Uncover partner needs and Think Big ideas through participation in key partner meetings, primary research, and data analysis; leveraging these insights to ensure customer and partner needs are central to I&PS COE strategy and initiatives.
• Represent the I&PS COE across SMGS teams, where the I&PS COE has decision authority or a vested interest in the capabilities and capacity of the worldwide industry partner community.
• Apply partner and customer engagement expertise to aligning, planning, and constructing solutions for transformation programs and business acceleration initiatives.
• Direct participation in annual strategic plan processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of experience in strategy consulting or in a strategic leadership role at a multinational organization
- Demonstrated ability to conduct sophisticated, data-driven analysis of complex business challenges and translate insights into actionable recommendations and strategic deliverables
- Track record of collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders at all organizational levels to develop and execute on complex strategic initiatives
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- - Experience working with leading global sales organizations or at a top-tier strategy consulting firm
- - Experience managing strategic initiatives
- - Advanced technical knowledge of cloud computing and services
- - Strong understanding of IT markets, industry trends, and competitive dynamics
- - Track record of delivering impactful, data-driven recommendations to senior executives at a global or regional level
- - Proven experience to effectively lead and execute on strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving industry
- - Advanced degree such as an MBA, Ph.D., or other relevant post-graduate qualification

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
