Position Title: Technical Program Manager III
Location: Arlington, Virginia
Position Responsibilities:
Develop a roadmap to achieve in-house controls monitoring and alarming in 100% of AWS’ data centers. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for internal software teams to implement new features for data ingestion, visualizations, and alarm types. Partner with teams to drive on-time delivery of requested features. Develop and roll out a standard onboarding process to include cloud-based monitoring and alarming, from initial data center contract agreements through customer usage. Develop automated metrics and checks to ensure the process is followed. Work with data center design and deployment teams to roll out new requirements and onboarding changes. Work with internal design teams to include data requirements for future data centers.
40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $148,700/year to $201,200/year

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Position Requirements:
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and one year of experience in the job offered or as a Project Lead, Product Manager, Software Engineer, or a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. Must have one year of experience in the following skill(s): (1) managing large cross-functional programs across an organization; and (2) experience in core program management including: managing scope, quality, communications, and risk and critical path management. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week. #0000
