Global Services Strategy & Operations is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager to own and deliver tooling and automation to scale our ability to bring innovative services to a wider array of customers faster, maximize revenue potential, and drive predictable revenue growth. You will partner with multiple product, engineering, and cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive user experiences across our sales and business operations tools. You will use high judgement to prioritize tasks, make trade-offs, and manage risks and constraints.
Key job responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership by translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of tooling and automation initiatives across multiple teams.
• Provide expertise on capacity management, level-of-effort estimation, task tracking, and assignment.
• Identify, anticipate, assess, track and mitigate issues, risks, roadblocks and escalations at multiple levels.
• Own status update mechanisms to communicate project progress and technical details to senior leadership and stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
- Strong communication and presentation skills; Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
- Work experience in Salesforce and or any CRM systems.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment that requires independent self-direction, excellent time management, strong attention to detail and an aptitude for team collaboration.
- High proficiency in project/program management tools, standards, and practices.
- Track record of successfully delivering complete systems (hardware, firmware, software) on time, to scope, with high quality.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
