AWS is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Program Manager for Business Programs within AWS to join this exciting AWS Database and Analytics team.
As a WW GTM Specialist of Business Programs on the AWS Database and Analytics team, you will define, establish, and facilitate implementation of business programs (both internal and external) to enable our worldwide go-to-market team, accelerate customer adoption of AWS Database and Analytics services, support our valued partners, drive revenue, and identify new opportunities to deliver for our customers. Working hand-in-hand with our GTM leaders and our worldwide team, as well as key internal stakeholders such as marketing, engineering, partners, sales operations, and finance, you will help drive the most impactful programs for our platform of Database & Analytics services. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and data analysis acumen will allow you to establish and execute effective tools and programs to ultimately support our customers and valued partners. The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness is a must.
Your main duties will focus on defining, establishing, and facilitating implementation of business programs (both internal and external) for AWS Database & Analytics services. Successful candidates will be natural self-starters who have experience in Project or Program management, process improvement, and/or business development. Ideal candidates will also be comfortable and enjoy working through ambiguity and be able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. You will work to define and implement programs and events to help our sales/GTM teams, valued partners, key stakeholders, and most importantly our customers to achieve goals, deliver results, and continually innovate in the data analytics space.
Key job responsibilities
* Serve as a key member of the Worldwide Specialist Go-To-Market team focused on helping to drive overall AWS market and technical strategy for database and analytics services
* Envision, propose and assist in the creation of new mechanisms, processes, and programs to improve customer experience, sales team effectiveness, employee experience, and business performance
* Work closely with sales/GTM leaders, front-line managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to define, execute, and continually improve our business programs and ensure we are delivering results for our customers
* Prepare and deliver business reviews and key updates to the senior management team regarding progress, including escalating roadblocks and challenges to achieving goals and growing our business
* Create, design, and maintain internal facing sites for various business and training programs
* Coordinate, manage and run internal and external events for our sales team and customers
* Develop long-term strategic partnerships in support of our strategic customers in key market segments
* Navigate a high volume of requests across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, and navigate a fast-paced environment while working to establish clarity and drive progress on long-term goals and vision
* Define and implement scalable processes to organize, launch, and facilitate various business programs
* Collaborate with appropriate teams to define and track objectives, goals and deliverables
* Be an effective written and verbal communicator to clearly articulate program objectives, goals and progress to upper management
* Strive for high standards and continuously work to invent and simplify

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
