The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for long-term commitments. Under the umbrella of GDSP, Private Pricing Experience (3PX) is responsible for the design and delivery of the end-to-end Private Pricing experience for Customers, Sellers, and Solution Providers to drive scale and growth across the deal cycle.

In this first-in-kind role, the Private Pricing Investments Program leader will build, launch and run the first-ever investment model for AWS Private Pricing customers, including credits. As existing and future AWS customers continue to recognize and amplify value in the cloud, the new leader will build a customer-obsessed model that incents Private Pricing customers while maintaining appropriate guardrails and ROI. Key job responsibilities
1. Creating vision and strategy for making investments at scale for AWS Private Pricing customers
2. Launch program including driving adoption and aligning with c-level stakeholders
3. Establish taxonomy, mental models and guardrails
4. Develop and implement standardized process and procedures for existing Private Pricing Investments to drive more efficient internal operations and drive consistent application across the organization
5. Establish ongoing mechanisms to measure effectiveness and ROI of Investment programs and track defects to drive continuous improvement
6. Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to improve mechanisms and tooling from Requesting Investments through Billing
7. Leverage test and learn to establish new Investment offerings
8. Serve as Subject Matter Expert for Investments across Private Pricing
9. Write data-driven, succinct narratives to drive C-Level Decision making

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years experience building and managing cross-functional teams to spearhead and drive strategic and transformational programs, in particular the areas of credits, investments in Sales
- 10+ years experience influencing policy in a large and complex organizations, in particular B2B tech sales
- 10+ years experience in process definition, having taken a process from concept to execution in large-scale, complex environments
- Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MBA
- Experience developing new programs and/or technology transformations
- Experience defining policies and oversight governance policies and processes
- Ability to dive deep into data, existing processes, people and systems to invent, simplify and improve inefficient or unnecessarily complex processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
