In this role, you'll be part of a team which builds out a new marketing engine that digitally engages zero-billing / low-billing accounts to a threshold where AWS sales teams and partner sales teams can prospect and grow the account. As the Lifecycle Marketing Manager, you'll help take our marketing campaigns to the next level by creating multi-channel multi-touch digital experiences to acquire, convert and grow our customers. You will effectively execute across various channels including email and digital websites, evolving each campaign to fit the target customer segment, persona and lifecycle stage.
This role is ideal for a data-driven marketer with a passion for optimizing the customer journey and enhancing user engagement. You'll work closely with our customer acquisition, digital experience, partner marketing and in-field colleagues to create consistent journeys for customers. You will need to coordinate complex lifecycle workflows, ensuring cohesion across all customer touchpoints and maintaining a consistent narrative and strategy across campaigns as you drive customers to meet the desired billing threshold. You will use insights from testing to drive continuous improvement in campaign effectiveness and conversion rates and build best practices that will enable scale.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop a deep understanding of our product positioning, target buyer personas, their journeys and reasons to believe that can be used to craft a series of lifecycle marketing campaigns.
• Own, build and manage highly relevant and impactful campaigns that move customers through their AWS cloud lifecycle utilizing a variety of digital channels, touchpoints and incentives to drive conversion.
• Work with regional marketing teams to develop a POV on existing gaps and areas for localization in our global marketing strategy to ensure relevancy as we scale.
• Lead the creation and implementation of email marketing campaigns from conception through execution, including planning, copywriting, segmentation, testing, and launching with a focus on personalization and performance optimization.
• Establish and maintain rigorous A/B testing processes to evaluate and improve customer journeys, email design, messaging, and program and incentives.
• Regularly report on the performance of lifecycle campaigns, tracking key engagement metrics for each nurture channel and ensuring we meet our campaign ROI targets. Identify areas for improvement, build mechanisms to drive scale and apply learnings to future campaigns.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Proven experience in life cycle, email marketing, or CRM management ideally in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Strong project management and organizational skills to handle complex workflows and multiple campaigns simultaneously.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- -Expertise in segmentation, automation, and campaign management tools (e.g. Marketo, Salesforce).
- -Experience working in the cloud industry
- -Excellent understanding of integrated marketing activities including paid media
- -Strong copy writing and proofreading skills, with an ability to tailor content to different audience segments.
- -Work experience on global teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
