Key job responsibilities
Working closely with the business, legal, tax, accounting, and other teams, you will develop out-of-this-world strategies for handling compliance obligations in creative, business-centric ways that allow Kuiper to move quickly. As a Program Manager, you will serve as a subject matter expert on Kuiper’s compliance obligations and lead the creation and maintenance of policies, processes, and procedures. You will contribute to the implementation and evolution of our compliance strategy, including participating in compliance assurance reviews and remediation plans. This role will also develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholder teams and be responsible for preparing and presenting updates on performance and progress to leadership.
The ideal program manager has a strong sense of ownership, is self-driven, and loves thinking big on how to create scalable mechanisms to support compliance obligations globally. You will bring a mix of experience including global program management, senior stakeholder engagement, and a proven record in process improvement. This role requires knowledge to solve ambiguous, complex problems and a successful track record of delivering multiple projects, managing deadlines and prioritizing across multiple teams and stakeholders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience operationalizing and/or assessing compliance obligations within a telecommunications organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
