Amazon's Selling Partner API (SP-API) team is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the Program Management Office (PMO) within our Solutions Architecture (SA) practice. This role will support cross-functional initiatives and requires expertise in program management within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.



Key job responsibilities
As the PMO Lead, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and optimizing our PMO function to create a centralized system for working backward project plans, release roadmaps, and joint technical requirements.

Collaborating closely with Account Management, Business Development, Documentation, Support, and backend technology teams to ensure the success of PMO processes.

Owning and executing complex projects and programs across various product categories.

Scaling existing mechanisms and creating new ones to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Establishing an effective PMO mechanism for the SA practice to enhance our support for customers worldwide.

About the team
Our global Solutions Architecture team enables technology Solution Providers to build on Selling Partner API. Selling Partner API is an integrated web service API that helps Amazon Selling Partners programmatically exchange data on listings, orders, payments, reports, and more.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of application product management experience
- 2+ years of defining and executing against program timeline & requirements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
