E2E North America sits at the center of Amazon's Supply Chain. You’ll have the opportunity to shape one of the largest, fastest supply chains on the planet. Our Finance team works closely with operations and finance leaders to surface insights, track performance, and drive analysis to optimize capacity planning, supply chain network design, transportation execution, and customer experience to deliver for our customers.

E2E North America seeks a Finance Manager who is a creative problem solver to surface actionable insights and drive performance. This role will own the E2E financial planning for Canada Operations and partner closely across Customer Fulfillment, Inbound Transportation, and Outbound Transportation to consolidate financials and craft the E2E story. This is a high visibility role, frequently crafting documents for reviews with the VP of NA Operations. This role's primary responsibility is to own Canada Operations cost and KPI reporting by developing and surfacing insights, maintaining a pulse on the key operations metrics, and drive the narrative of how they impact financial performance. This role will partner closely with a broad range of global finance and business leaders across Operations and Retail categories. The role also has stakeholders in capacity planning teams, and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A). This role designs, develops, and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports on strategic input drivers to continuously improve the economics of the business.

Key job responsibilities
- Drive strategic supply chain initiatives with business and finance partners by presenting financial and non-financial trade-offs using data. You make thoughtful judgement calls in ambiguous environments where data may be scarce or difficult to procure.
- Improve the Canada FP&A processes to simplify and improve accuracy in the consolidation of planning and reporting.
- Oversee financial reporting for your business area. Understand input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning. Use data to identify disruptive ideas and provide advice to business leaders across the globe.
- With Controllership as the top priority, you identify, resolve, or provide guidance to resolve complex data integrity issues. You improve controls to address financial risk and support frugality.
- Use active listening skills intuitively to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner. Adjust style for various audiences to articulate complex finance issues clearly. Your communications drive critical business decisions.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)
- 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
