As the Sr Specialist, ECRT and Sustainable Buildings, you will have an exciting opportunity to shape and deliver on a global strategy to help customers accelerate their business and sustainability transformations by leveraging the AWS cloud computing platform. In this role you will develop and execute global strategies building solutions, offerings, and new capabilities that meet the needs of their customers. Activities include building and executing global partner strategies with internal specialist and service teams, helping customers and partners innovate with our services, and unblocking challenges that our customers face in realizing business growth. You will be responsible for measuring the success of the strategies and overall market adoption of ECRT and Sustainable Building solutions and capabilities. You will also serve as industry subject matter expert aligned to support broader internal teams. This is a very exciting opportunity to work on the forefront of this exciting field alongside some of the most innovative companies in the world.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing, communicating and driving successful partnership initiatives at scale as well as a sales or business development background with demonstrated experience driving GTM motions. The ideal candidate possesses a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and a strong ability to dive deep into data to uncover business opportunities. Working knowledge of and experience in the Sustainable Buildings/Smart Cities is required.
Key job responsibilities
- Working backwards from customers, identify solutions themes, prioritize a portfolio of solution(s) for each solution theme, and AWS value proposition(s).
- Develop global strategies to grow ECRT industry business through consulting partners and technology partners.
- Represent AWS best-practices around innovation, product management, software engineering, data and analytics, and other platform capabilities to work
- Develop C-suite and line-of-business relationships within customer organization
- Develop and report on insights from revenue, opportunity registration, and business reviews with partners to exceed annual goals.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen to assist customers in building value propositions / business cases / supporting financial models

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Working knowledge of and experience in the ECRT industry workloads
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Working knowledge of and experience in the AI/ML workloads

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
