The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of overachievement in program management, business development or pre-sales functions with some domain knowledge of data, analytics and generative AI. In addition, experience in sales enablement, and content management is desired. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. We expect the person in this role to work with AWS employees from many departments and geographies/time zones, requiring them to communicate clearly and effectively through Amazon business narratives/writing, weekly updates, and leveraging data available through Amazon QuickSight and Excel, to report the status of their projects and unlock business insights for leaders. This candidate must be a multi-faceted self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and prioritization.
Key job responsibilities
Design, develop, and provide program management for sales plays, programs, and events, including setting goals, establishing timelines, and developing RACI matrices
Develop go-to-market strategies and provide advisory services for data and analytics solutions
Develop world-class content and share and iterate with Product Marketing and other WWSO teams
Collaborate with industry teams on business-specific use cases aligned to the value of both data and analytics
Accelerate adoption of AWS data, analytics and generative AI services
Work closely with the service aligned GTM specialist teams to disseminate information to customers, the AWS field teams, and the AWS partner network
Train and enable AWS sales teams on how to deliver data, analytics and generative AI messaging, engage in development of key content assets, and collaborate with other teams on positioning AWS's core value proposition and newer capabilities

The mission of the Sales Acceleration Team in the WW Specialist team for Database and Analytics is to create and leverage mechanisms that increase the velocity of data and analytics sales, from top-of-funnel lead-generation to launching and scaling customers’ data and analytics productions. The team is part of a larger organization in AWS that is comprised of business development, solutions architecture, and program management professionals who execute on the company’s go-to-market data and analytics strategy for all of AWS.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program/project management, business development or pre-sales experience in a software or consulting company
- Experience working with data, analytics, AI/ML, and data warehouse technologies
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Strong technical acumen with a foundational understanding of the data, analytics, and AI/ML landscape
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in developing and managing sales enablement content and training programs
- Proven track record in program management and cross-functional collaboration
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
