Are you excited about the cloud computing industry and leveraging cutting edge data analytics technologies and methodologies? Are you interested in driving business decisions through data analysis, reporting, and KPIs? Do you want to work on a team of Business Intelligence Engineers, Product Managers, and Data Engineers to solve AWS’s most complex business problems through data.

We’re looking for someone who possesses a data analytics background, familiar with maintaining large data sets, building the datasets needed for analyzing information, identifying key business insights, and working with stakeholders in generating the right metrics to define and measure success. In this role, you will be a technical expert with significant scope and impact. As a Senior Product Manager - Technical (PMT) within the Specialized Analytics Team, you will work with Sales Operation Leaders, data analytics experts, and other business users to understand business needs and design analytical and reporting solutions. You’ll develop product plans that have clear, measurable success criteria and define mechanisms and metrics that enable you to quickly explain your product’s adoption, performance, and variance against goals. You define the problem(s) you are trying to solve, desired customer experience, and technology-specific needs.

Candidates must have the ability to earn trust and communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units in a global organization. They should possess a keen sense of ownership, collaboration, and desire to learn. They should be familiar with owning the development, delivery, and roadmap of major technology products. They should have experience contributing to strategic planning narratives and goals and engineering organization roadmaps. They deliver the right analytical solutions independently, with limited guidance.

* Translate customer needs into clear requirements, expressed through narratives and business requirement documents.
* Specify technical requirements, effectively reduce technical debt through roadmap prioritization, and contribute to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to technical products.
* Scale products across 20+ analytics team members to improve team productivity.
