AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

We are looking for a passionate, curious, and confident Contracts Manager - Vendor Analyst to join the 3P Center of Excellence (3PCX). In this role, you will be focused on the full lifecycle of 3P vendor management including analysis, contract negotiation, onboarding, integration and renewal of 3rd party tools which support the $100B plus revenue run-rate of AWS. Additionally, you will maintain the portfolio level view of all tools, both 1 & 3P used by SMGS. You will dive deep in the data to ensure accuracy of our SaaS Management Platform (SMP). You will drive strategies for consolidating areas of duplication within the tool portfolio and identify opportunities to save cost. The Contracts manager will also evaluate the tool portfolio to help drive prescriptive guidance around which tools should be recommended to the field. Most importantly, you will positively contribute to the culture and performance of the team as we have fun making history!

Key job responsibilities
• Diligently listen, understand and interact with internal stakeholders
• Drive the execution of all processes in the Vendor management lifecycle, including contract negotiations, renewals product and market research, planning, and positioning.
• Perform data analysis and maintain data hygiene in our SaaS Management Platform
• Create tooling strategy documents that clearly describe customer problem, business uses cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product operations, and enablement teams in the development, QA, and release of products.

About Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- 2+ years of contracts management, leading or supporting contract negotiations, managing vendors relationships, or other comparable experience.
- Experience reviewing and negotiating legal terms.
- Microsoft Office Suite of tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience working within a high-growth, technology company
- Experience with data visualization software (e.g., AWS QuickSight or Tableau) or open-source project
- In-house legal experience a plus.
- Experience querying data within a database using SQL
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.
- Ability to invent, simplify, and improve vendor management processes
