As program manager, you will be part of a team managing large global projects planning with technical stakeholders. The role encompasses working on multi facet projects with the goal to scale technical planning processes, improve business metrics and accuracy of plans to achieve technical and business goals. You will support the execution of the business including helping to design and build self-service tools and mechanisms to strengthen the operational efficiency of the team by analyzing processes and providing recommendations for improvement. You will use various reporting tools such as SFDC, Marshall, Quicksight dashboards, to support rhythm of business activities such as forecasting, tracking performance of the initiative against goals, prepare data for Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, and other cadenced reporting and metrics that interlock with leadership. You will help build scalable mechanisms to support business and program operation processes while being able to dive deep into SFDC data.

You will be an exceptional communicator, both written and verbally, and possess 5-7+ years of experience in tactical project management of highly technical initiatives, as well as strategic program management. Candidates possessing a background in architecture/design, software engineering, who have transitioned to a program management discipline will have a distinct advantage. The right person for this role is highly capable of leading through influence across business, operations, and technology. You have a record of accomplishment of delivering complex project, and have demonstrated problem solving capabilities across both technical and non-technical teams.

Key job responsibilities
You will be fully competent in a variety of project management tools, methodologies and techniques for all phases of the project lifecycle and exhibit demonstrated proficiency in core project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, resources, quality and risk management, reporting and metric development/tracking. Other requirements include proficiency with SFDC, Quicksights, MS-Office Suite. Experience with Tableau, SQL and systems integration a plus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of program or project management experience. Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Bachelor's degree

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
