Selling Partner Service is looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior Program Manager Engineer to join our team. We are looking for a self-starter with the drive and conviction to do things right the first time and challenge the status quo. As the Senior Program Manager for Partner foundation security team, you will spearhead the implementation of large-scale, repetitive security initiatives spanning multiple organizations. We seek a seasoned professional with a background in program or business operations management, driven by a passion for technological innovation and adept at collaborating with highly technical teams. Proven success in launching programs, particularly within diverse environments and across a wide range of technologies, is a crucial requirement for this role. This role requires scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating to senior management on status, risks and process/product changes, cross-team coordination and project management.
You are adept at building consensus. You are able to represent, verbally and in writing, complex decisions, tough trade-offs, and potential solutions clearly to leaders to help them understand the decisions they have to make and what options they have. You manage cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders are informed and needs aligned. You know when a design or solution requires additional guidance. Key job responsibilities
* Build repetitive processes which can drive multiple outcomes at the same time with PFSec customers to implement proactive security measures while establishing metrics to show effectiveness of our security initiatives.
* Gather knowledge and coordinate execution across multiple global partner teams with exceptional organization
* Drive leadership to make hard risks tradeoff decisions using anecdote and data to inform those decisions
* Concisely represent our organization to business leaders and technical staff at all levels of the company
* Proactively identify and manage program risk, identifying paths to overcome risks, and escalating when necessary
* Demonstrate exceptional judgment, integrity, business acumen, and communication skills
* Build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders and security teams while advocating on behalf of our customers to deliver on their security goals
* Passion for implementing mechanisms that drive clarity and specificity across multiple organizations
About the team
Selling Partner Foundation Security team's mission is to build mechanisms that help prevent security issues from affecting Amazon's Selling Partner Foundation frameworks and applications built on top of these frameworks.
A Program Manager in the Selling Partner Foundation Security team will collaborate closely with application developers, fostering multiple collaborative efforts to align with the builder community. This will enable secure development initiatives while building partnerships that drive short-term engagements and establish repeatable processes with multiple builder organizations under Selling Partner Services, empowering our partners.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or Master's degree in computer science, technology, design
