Key job responsibilities
The position is a front end engineering role and the responsibilities will focus on all aspects of software development with focus on front-end development. The candidate should be proficient in independent end-to-end problem-solving within these areas.
* Help define front end architectures, own and implement specific components, and help shape the overall user experience
* Contributing to defining best practices for front end development
* Collaborate closely with UX Designers, Product Managers, and generalist Software Development Engineers on the same team to help deliver the product.
* Contribute to planning, design, implementation, testing, operations, and process improvement as a member of an autonomous team.
* Take responsibility for technical problem-solving, creatively meeting product goals, and developing best practices.
* Design and develop React based web applications and leverage component libraries such as MUI
* Write high-quality, efficient, testable code in React JS
* Mentor and support the growth of other developers.

About Third Party Security Engineering Team
The Third Party Security (TPS) program within Stores Security has long been instrumental in ensuring that third parties handling Amazon's data meet the required security bar. The Third Party Security Engineering Team (TPS-E) serves as the technology partner for the TPS program, creating scalable, user-friendly, and secure solutions to deliver on the TPS program's objectives to (1) increase coverage to 100% of 3P use cases, (2) reduce risk to Amazon when doing business with third parties, and (3) create an efficient, user-friendly experience for customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 1+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
