AWS is seeking a highly motivated and customer-centric marketing research professional to drive insights that shape our Brand and Advertising research program. As a Sr. Market Research Manager, you will lead all aspects of research and measurement to understand the effectiveness of AWS's most visible advertising campaigns. In this pivotal role, you'll collaborate closely with Brand, Advertising, and Messaging teams, as well as senior leadership within the Marketing organization to understand business objectives and craft tailored research and measurement plans. While you will design and oversee diverse research methodologies from surveys to focus groups to develop rich brand-level insights, a core responsibility in this role is to design and execute a world-class measurement framework for the brand advertising program. Your ability to think outside the box, innovate on existing industry best practices for campaign measurement, synthesize complex data into actionable insights, and communicate them effectively to the brand and marketing teams will be critical to your success.

• Analyze diverse data sets and extract insights to provide strategic guidance
• Craft compelling narratives that distill complex insights and socialize research findings and recommendations
• Influence stakeholders and use data to inform key business decisions
• Build a best-in-class ecosystem of research partners to support research projects and maintain a high bar on data quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of experience in market research and analytics, preferably in the technology industry
- 5+ years of experience with and solid understanding of campaign measurement
- Experience with business-to-business (B2B) audience research
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights
- Bachelors or advanced degree in business, mathematics, or the sciences

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with emerging technologies research
- Experience with in business-to-business (B2B) research
- Experience with product research
- Experience in international research
- Experience in both client-side and vendor-side research positions
- Analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling
- Advanced and relevant education

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
