Supply Chain Compliance Lead

The Supply Chain Compliance Lead is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive compliance program to ensure the organization's global supply chain operations adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This critical role requires a subject matter expert who can drive consistent compliance practices across multiple functions and geographies.



Key job responsibilities

- Establish and oversee the implementation of a robust supply chain compliance framework, encompassing policies, procedures, training, and monitoring mechanisms.

- Regularly monitor changes in supply chain-related laws, regulations, and industry best practices (e.g., FCPA, export controls, customs requirements) and update the compliance program accordingly.

- Conduct in-depth risk assessments to identify potential compliance gaps and vulnerabilities within the supply chain, including evaluating supplier practices and third-party relationships.

- Develop and deliver targeted training programs to educate employees, suppliers, and logistics partners on their compliance obligations and responsibilities.

- Implement effective due diligence and monitoring processes to ensure the organization's supply chain partners (e.g., suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers) adhere to all relevant compliance requirements.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (e.g., legal, procurement, logistics) to embed compliance controls into supply chain operations, such as contract terms, supplier onboarding, and shipment verification.

- Serve as the subject matter expert and central point of contact for all supply chain compliance-related inquiries and issues, providing guidance and support to various stakeholders.

- Analyze compliance data and metrics to identify trends, detect anomalies, and recommend proactive measures to mitigate risks.

- Maintain comprehensive documentation and reporting on the organization's supply chain compliance performance, preparing for audits and regulatory reviews as needed.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the strategic roadmap for supply chain compliance, aligning initiatives with the organization's overall risk management and operational objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain management, compliance, or a related field, with a strong focus on global supply chain compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in interpreting and applying a wide range of supply chain-related laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., customs, export controls, anti-corruption).
- Proven track record of developing and implementing effective supply chain compliance programs, including the design of policies, procedures, and controls.
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and analytical skills to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities to influence cross-functional teams and deliver compelling compliance training.
- In-depth understanding of supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, and customs processes.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., supply chain, business, law); advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
