Are you interested in setting the strategy for a rapidly growing program unlocking step-change efficiencies in Amazon and vendor supply chains? Vendor Flex is a program that creates value for our vendors, customers, and supply chain by operating small-scale fulfillment centers co-located in vendor warehouses that ship directly to Amazon customers. We are looking for a Sr. Business Developer to accelerate incremental savings capabilities with existing vendors and own international launch deployments with executive-level visibility.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead strategic development and execution of new capabilities at 30 existing sites per year to drive incremental savings
- Lead international development
- Own qualifying and pitching vendors to improve conversion
- Partner with internal support stakeholders ranging from Operations and Design to Legal and Finance to improve precision of financials and contracting
- Engage with a range of senior leaders from across both Amazon and external vendors, exhibiting a high degree of discretion and judgement
- Make prioritization and trade-off decisions with little oversight while managing to timelines and partner teams, effectively surfacing debates where needed and driving inspection of mechanisms

The ability to understand how different areas of the business are interconnected will be key to this role.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
- Experience in setting up and managing a sales pipeline
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience with business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business
- Background in Supply Chain or Business Development.
- Foreign language experience (preferably French)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
