Key job responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Manage new and existing procurement programs, delivering desired results across multiple Amazon organizations. Example of nationwide procurement programs we support include Janitorial services, Pest Control, Powered Equipment, Waste/Recycling Streams, Security, PPE Supplies services, as well as many other services categories.
- Drive supplier relationship development by holding regular business reviews to assess performance and areas of opportunity
- Influence design and development of strategic procurement programs.
- Create and manage program communication, accelerating progress by driving clear and timely decisions, removing obstacles and escalating as appropriate.
- Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting for a portfolio of programs, providing visibility to the milestones, and performance across all projects and using this data to drive/influence business decisions.
- Work directly with external providers, customers, and partner teams to create and deliver scalable solutions.
- Execute and own large-scale process improvement opportunities within new business launches existing processes and controls, including defining scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Utilize numerous standard analytical tools to analyze business metrics for optimization and derive actionable recommendations to meet business and procurement objectives.
- Ensure service levels across multiple vendors/providers ensuring quality services. This includes management of day to day program escalations such as vendor concerns, vendor performance support, scoping changes, and many other day to day field team needs across the services portfolios.
- Develop and manage tactical procurement services and daily operations including Purchase Orders and Invoice management.
- Recognize and resolve issues and provide hands-on support to ensure procurement programs operate successfully across all locations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
