As a (Senior) Program Manager with Amazon, you will have the opportunity to develop the business requirements and influence the success of these partners. In this role, you will own operational programs related to our vendors, and third-party partners and work to resolve operational issues. As a program manager you will work cross-functionally to drive customer centric programs. This role requires a deep need for stakeholder management, an ability to synthesize data and information, and communication across internal and external partners.
Key job responsibilities
• Manage and oversee various cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery.
• Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams.
• Set clear objectives for programs, leveraging data analytics to drive improvements and achieve metrics.
• Navigate and resolve ambiguities in business scenarios, applying creative problem-solving skills.
• Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success.
• Evaluate and prioritize projects in conjunction with customer needs and technical team inputs.
• Bridge gaps in team dynamics, processes, and systems, preventing common project pitfalls.
• Identify and mitigate risks, preventing them from escalating into major issues.
• Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.
• Manage and communicate project budgets effectively.
A day in the life
- Manage multiple external vendors responsible for the transport and storage of Amazon branded vehicles.
-Partner with various stakeholders to understand customer need and how we can influence and impact that experience.

We are looking for the next leader to join our Vehicle Delivery team responsible for creating that experience for our Delivery Service Partners. The Vehicle Delivery Team manages the transport of all Amazon branded vehicles in NA that service our Fleet. We work to take a legacy business into the future by creating efficiencies in process, data, tools and other programs that are cutting edge. We need an experienced program manager that is an organized self-starter who looks to excel in a fast-past environment full of opportunities. The role will be responsible for managing vendors to meet the program requirements and developing expectations for customer experience as we meet our organizational goals. This is a wide reaching position that interacts with several different teams across our Global Fleet and Product organization.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
