Key job responsibilities
· Systematically intake, escalate, and triage problems to the relevant owners and teams and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
· Audit documentation submitted by partners to ensure it complies with standard operating procedures.
· Pull data from numerous databases (using Excel, SQL, or other data management systems) to perform reporting and analysis.
· Use data analysis to determine impacts from carrier removals and communicate clearly to relevant stakeholders.
· Upload Weekly Business Review (WBR).
· Support Carrier Health Team's internal customers (Safety, Compliance, Middle Mile Partner Management, Procurement) by acting as a liaison between them and Carrier Health leadership
· Excellent communication, both verbal and written, as you will be required to create a narrative outlining your weekly findings and the variances to goals and present these findings in a review forum.
· Identify and find solutions for current gaps in current standard operating procedures relating to carrier removals.
About the team
The Carrier Health Team is a new organization within Amazon Transportation Services who's goal is to advocate for the thousands of third party surface transportation carriers in the Amazon Relay network. We aim to do this by insisting on the highest standards when it's necessary to remove carriers from the network and creating a positive carrier experience. We work cross-functionally with Safety, Compliance, Middle Mile Partner Management, Procurement, Product, and Tech to optimize the carrier experience and to understand and communicate the first, second, and third order effects from changes to Relay Program Policies.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience with SQL
- Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements
