Amazon Logistics (AMZL) is seeking an experienced candidate to identify, create, develop and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our last mile delivery network. This position will lead the development and execution of new worldwide transportation initiatives designed to improve overall efficiency and meet the ever-growing demand for last mile capacity. The successful candidate will have strong data mining and modeling skills and is comfortable facilitating ideas and working from concept through to execution.

Key job responsibilities
- Retrieving and analyzing data using Excel, SQL, Access and other data management systems.
- Monitoring existent metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
- Designing and implementing reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Supporting cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
- Driving small to medium operational enhancement projects.
- Research and implement cost reduction opportunities.

**This role can be based in Bellevue, WA, Nashville, TN, Austin, TX, or Toronto, ON

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of experience as business analyst, data analyst, or similar role
- 3+ years of experience with Excel including use of lookups and pivot tables
- 3+ years of experience with Supply Chain Management concepts, e.g., forecasting, planning, optimization, and logistics

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of experienced developing requirements and creating requirements documents and process flows
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Working knowledge of LEAN and SIX SIGMA methodologies and familiarity with Oracle business intelligence tools is a plus.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL, Perl, Unix/Linux, Visual Basic or other programming languages are a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills complemented with the ability to problem solve independently

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
