Amazon is seeking an experienced Logistics Specialist to oversee AMER carrier performance management for OTS Supply Chain Global Transportation and Logistics. This position will involve working closely with business teams across the organization and worldwide to create and implement supply chain solutions for both new programs and current operations. The main objective of this role is to use data to insist on high standards of performance from OTS carriers. This role will drive solutions that enhance the efficiency and scalability of OpsTech Solutions, while also supporting regional operations partners

Key job responsibilities
- Conduct deep dive analysis of performance combining internal and external data sources
- Must be able to systematically resolve problems with data integrity and follow through on the resolutions to ensure they are delivered.
- Must be able to work senior leadership in conducting carrier MBR and QBR's.
- Must be able to report key business health metrics and observations in business reviews.
- Must be able to quickly understand the business impact of the trends and make good quality data driven decisions.
- Prioritize, optimize and deliver timely updates for all key metrics
- Graphically visualize data to allow easy access to large sets of information and understanding for a broad range of people
- Develop automation solutions for reports, tools and processes
- Deliver operational improvements using data driven approach to root cause analysis and solution design
- Continual, tactical communication with both external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers (OTS, Finance, Regional Logistics, OTS Rapid Asset Deployment Centers).
- Work within various time constraints to meet critical business needs, while measuring and identifying activities performed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience in program or project management
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
- Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques
- Experience in supply chain

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Knowledge of SQL
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- 2+ years of supply chain experience
