This individual will be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working with stakeholders across different areas of Amazon, including Partnerships, Finance, Marketing, Production, Ad Sales, Product/Tech, and Research.
Key job responsibilities
• Collaborate with Finance and Partnerships teams to build models and write documents during evaluations of potential live sports opportunities
• Lead deep-dive analyses around sports fans, content types, distribution methods, and more to inform our go-forward US Sports strategy
• Perform extensive competitive benchmarking analyses, and identify and elevate noteworthy trends for a senior audience
• Be a source-of-truth for internal stakeholders on the performance of our overall US Sports business, performance of specific properties, and key learnings across the business
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, management consulting, and/or strategy/business development at a major media, sports, or technology company
• Experience using complex modeling and analysis to inform key business decisions
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Experience with verbal and written communication for senior audiences
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous experience with content strategy/evaluation at a streaming service, media company, or sports property
• Avid sports fan

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $161,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
