Amazon Live aims to build the next generation of shopper-tainment, with a fun and entertaining way to shop. We are looking for a hands-on product leader to help drive the evolution of live commerce experiences for all of Amazon, globally. This is a high-leverage role with a broad scope, and we are looking for you to have the ability to shape our thinking on how to evolve and differentiate the product offering in this space.

Key job responsibilities
This role sits within Live's core and web experiences, and is supported by a large engineering team, UX designers, business intelligence SMEs. The Senior Product Manager Tech (Sr. PMT) is expected to work with marketing, content, and program managers to deliver great shopping and video experiences on behalf of our customers.

The right person would have experience defining long-term product strategy, enjoys being customer obsessed, brings strong CX skills, technical knowledge and is comfortable with a high-level of ambiguity. They would be equally comfortable ideating on the next set of interactivity and fun experiences with UX designers, and in delivering low latency experiences on slow connections with our senior front-end engineers.

They will craft and communicate a strategic roadmap and see to its execution. We move fast; and that allows PMs to deliver on a large impact in a short time frame.

Amazon Shopping Videos (ASV) is an exciting new strategic program that harnesses the power of video to help millions of customers discover product inspiration, learn more about items they're interested in, and engage with talented creators and vibrant communities across the globe. We empower customers to effortlessly find relevant content and explore our expansive library of product-focused videos across our home experiences on desktop, mobile, and living room devices - as well as throughout their entire shopping journey on Amazon.

We are very much a dynamic, startup-like initiative within Amazon, aiming to reinvent the way customers use video to shop. To achieve this bold vision, we are seeking motivated, thoughtful self-starters who can forge effective partnerships across our multi-disciplinary teams to drive continuous innovation.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong product sense, past experience in strategy consulting, venture capital and/ or finance preferred
- Experience building consumer internet products in a high growth environment
- Outstanding oral and written communication
- MBA or equivalent experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
