This role will require partnering with Product and Sales leaders to understand capabilities coupled with an assessment of industry pricing trends. The role will require long-term thinking and a holistic strategy to maximize monetization of our Sports Advertising packages.
Key job responsibilities
• Uphold and enforce an environment of strong financial controllership
• Develop pricing strategies for our Sports Advertising Packages
• Build a 'test and learn' culture that experiments with different pricing models
• Help create, prepare, and present yearly targets, quarterly forecasts, and monthly/weekly financial reports
• Analyze and test pricing alternatives to continually refine our thinking on pricing
• Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and analysis, problem solving, and clear communication of insights and recommendations.
• Contribute with deep-dive analyses and insights in Quarterly and Monthly Business Reviews
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management or analysis
- Familiarity with the Domestic (US) and Global Sports Industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA, or CPA
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience working in the Sports industry (Media partner, league office, etc.).

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
