The candidate will know how to get close to the customer to uncover insights for their campaigns, define a roadmap, and prioritize activities based on business goals. They will be comfortable diving deep to illustrate the impact of their work with data and customer anecdotes.
Key job responsibilities
- Develop data driven email strategies to acquire and engage Amazon Hub customers globally
- Create and test campaigns and templates that align content to customer preferences (language, marketplace, products, or experience)
- Recommend and implement iterative A/B testing to continually improve performance through optimized messaging and targeting
- Define customer segmentation strategy and action-based triggers for automated email programs
- Optimize against key metrics including CTR, open rates, customer acquisition and engagement
- Create testing plan and optimize email targeting and content to improve KPIs
- Analyze and report on performance metrics of email campaigns
- Track email best practices, monitor industry trends, and make recommendations
- Leverage modern email tools, both third party and in-house, to increase campaign performance
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
