A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. As part of our US SMB Marketing team, we are looking for a Sr. Business Lead who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed on Amazon. In this role, you will own the development of business, marketing, and content strategy to guide full funnel marketing activations. You will be responsible for customer research and segmentation, data analysis, insight generation, aligning cross-functional stakeholders on business priorities and messaging frameworks, and program management. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator (verbal and written) and collaborator who can earn trust with key leaders and stakeholders across multiple teams. You excel at quantitative data analysis and pulling a story from the numbers. You are results-oriented and have a relentless focus on using customer data and insights to deliver bar-raising experiences.

Key job responsibilities
- Research: Perform deep data analysis and customer research to uncover business opportunities and develop customer segmentation
- Strategy development: Formulate marketing and content strategies and roadmaps aligned with business opportunities and segmentation; align your vision with leaders and partners
- Develop customer-facing case studies and proof points for use in integrated campaigns.
- Reporting: Own goal forecasting. Identify success metrics, measure the impact of your initiatives, and own WBR/MBR/QBR reporting. Gather feedback, and leverage insights to improve go-forward strategies.

About the team
The global SMB (Small and Medium Businesses) marketing team serves sales unmanaged advertisers globally. Our mission is twofold: 1) Grow Amazon Ads awareness & consideration amongst SMBs globally 2) Drive Sponsored Ads demand for the self service (SSO) channel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
- 8+ years experience in retail, marketing, or related fields

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
