Key job responsibilities
- Lead front-end efforts to help our advertisers increase their shopper reach, accelerate innovation, and maximize return on investment
- Leverage state-of-the-art techniques to build highly performant, latency-neutral, and pixel-perfect products with a deep understanding of sponsored brands' front-end architecture
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX Designers, Product Managers, Business Intelligence Engineers, and others, to translate requirements into high-quality, user-centric implementations
- Stay up-to-date with the latest front-end technologies and frameworks, contributing to the development and improvement of our libraries, systems, and design practices
- Foster a culture of experimentation, continuous iteration, and rapid customer feedback, while mentoring junior engineers
- Drive operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and adherence to engineering best practices

About the team
The Creative Recommendations and Builder (CRaB) team is transforming the ad creation landscape for Amazon Advertisers. We provide intelligent services like Headline Suggestions, Custom Image Suggestions, and Subpage Ranking to deliver fully-formed ads tailored for various Amazon Ads programs and formats. Our versatile, program-agnostic approach ensures seamless integration and outstanding performance across all ad types.

As part of the CRaB team, you'll be at the forefront of digital advertising innovation. You'll manage creative authoring services, develop cutting-edge front-end previews, and ensure seamless data integration through advanced APIs. You'll also streamline creative workflows and enable rapid deployment of new ad experiences. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS experience
- 2+ years of computer science fundamentals (object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving and complexity analysis) experience
- Experience using JavaScript frameworks such as angular and react

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
- Experience with common front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JS, TypeScript, and Node
- Experience building reusable UX components or libraries

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
