We are looking for a talented individual who will be able to define the problem(s) we are trying to solve, the vision and the product strategy. The Sr. Product Manager Faster Payments identify use cases based on research and data analysis, and deliver payment products with global cross-organizational business impact from initiation through to delivery. They continuously look around the corner for more optimal and innovative ways to enable faster payments, seek simplification and make trade-offs between business opportunities, time, resources and features. This person is capable of working independently, working under ambiguity and conflicting priorities. They deliver through positive influence and alignment with stakeholders and leadership to get things done. The Sr. Product Manager Faster Payments drives clarity even under the most ambiguous circumstances. They work closely and effectively with cross-functional product (tech and non-tech), engineering, business, treasury, accounting and operations teams on identifying and implementing new payment products. This individual utilizes their deep functional and technical understanding of payments to ensure that organizational goals, system scalability and customer needs are all met. The ideal candidate will also have superior analytical abilities and a track record of finding practical, simple and creative solutions for complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality.
Key job responsibilities
-Identifying faster payments opportunities that align with the growth and needs of our businesses and payees, and which support company-wide goals
-Determining and defining a global strategy for faster payments, including real time payments, push-to-card, and digital wallets product expansion and delivery
-Partnering closely with a cross-organizational project teams on delivering push-to-card and other fast funds payments in the US and internationally
-Owning the faster payments product roadmap and influencing businesses to onboard to this new payment type
-Developing mechanisms and metrics that clearly measure success
-Managing escalations independently
-Communicating frequently and appropriately to leadership

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
