You share Amazon’s mission to innovate in healthcare on behalf of customers. You will partner closely with business leadership, supporting the execution of strategies to address legal issues in creative, business-focused ways. You will help build processes that effectively manage risk while enabling the business to move quickly.
The successful candidate will be curious, enthusiastic about technology and healthcare, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exhibit sound judgment in complex or ambiguous situations. A growth mindset with a willingness to take on new subject matter and challenges is essential for success in this role.
Successful candidates will have experience with U.S. healthcare compliance laws and regulations, including expertise in fraud and abuse laws, billing and overpayment rules, controlled substances regulations, patient safety requirements, state board regulations for pharmacy and medicine, and interactions with key government regulators.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of healthcare compliance legal exprience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
