Amazon is looking for a Sr. Performance Marketing Manager to join Amazon Autos. We’re partnering with dealers and brands to redesign car shopping—making it more transparent, convenient, and customer-friendly. As part of this team, you will be a key player in bringing this brand to life, driving awareness of Amazon Autos and driving sales. You will have the opportunity to build a performance marketing program from the ground up, working in an agile startup atmosphere.

About You:
You’re an experienced marketing professional who loves to build. You think customer-first and balance strategic, creative, and tactical thinking to deliver thumb stopping advertising campaigns. In this role you will own paid user acquisition and growth efforts for a soon to be launched product. You will help set our go-to-market strategy and own campaign management and optimization, define the investment framework approach, build measurement capabilities and experimentation to scale Paid Media. Reporting into the Head of Marketing, you will collaborate with Finance, Creative, Product and BI to deliver on performance marketing goals and be required to present learnings & insights to leadership. You will formulate marketing initiatives that are deeply backed by data, and have experience driving customer growth for a new app or business.


Key job responsibilities
• Own paid advertising strategy and execution to drive customer acquisition that contributes to overall marketplace awareness and vehicle sales.
• Build robust tracking, attribution, and overall data infrastructure in partnership with Product/BI teams.
• Manage relationships with key partners in the advertising ecosystem (e.g. Google, Apple, Meta).
• Provide performance reporting on all marketing campaigns and take relevant action on insights gained.
• Collaborate closely with technical, business, finance and design teams within Amazon to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.
• Experiment across platforms, conducting deep data analysis to uncover new opportunities for growth.
• Identify and partner with external creative and/or performance agencies to deliver on goals
- Manage the end-to-end execution of paid search campaigns, including keyword research, ad copy creation, bid optimization, and campaign performance analysis
- Collaborate with the content, creative, and e-commerce teams to ensure search-friendly, conversion-optimized user experiences across Amazon Autos touchpoints
- Partner with central teams to establish a strong affiliate marketing program for Amazon Autos
- Optimize affiliate tracking, attribution and commissioning through rigorous testing with central team
• Coordinate with other Amazon performance marketing professionals to leverage relationships, establish best practices for marketing.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
