Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and we are looking to hire a world class candidate to manage an elite portfolio of strategic AWS technology partners focused on the Security space. This role will take on partners in the Cloud Native Security, AppSec, Data Security and other emerging security categories. A key component will be to guide them in leveraging the AWS Marketplace as a key part of their GTM with AWS.

Key job responsibilities
Responsibilities will include driving C-level and field relationships with your partners and with the AWS sales field, guiding the development and launch of joint solutions in the container / public cloud space, and executing joint GTM plans globally.

This role will be responsible for enabling strategic partners in Security establishing the strategy, and working with existing ISV product, business development and field organizations to define joint go-to-market programs.

Successful applicants will possess a strong partner development background as well as an understanding of the Cloud and how partners offerings help secure it; enabling them to engage at all vendor levels including the CXO/VP level. Applicant should be customer-centric, delivery-focused and self-motivated with a track record of exceeding goals. This position has a high level of visibility, and candidate will need to be a strong leader, able to communicate clearly within our team and cross-functional teams in AWS. We are like a start-up, we will wear many hats, work fast and smart, and adapt and iterate quickly. We are looking for someone who is ready to roll-up their sleeves and join a tightly-knit team that is tackling a very interesting and challenging opportunity.


A day in the life
- Execute strategy to grow Technology Partnerships with the Tech COE
- Support partners across practice development, solution creation, enablement, and leveraging AWS programs
- Drive partner revenue through pipeline management, opportunity registration, and business reviews to exceed annual goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, solutions architecture, product management, and other teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
- Serve as a subject matter expert advocating for AWS partner capabilities internally and externally

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
