AWS is looking for a senior leader who understands business trends affecting the industry, to build business with leading agencies, technology ISVs, and consulting companies.
You will be responsible for defining and leading the overall strategy and plan across Advertising and Marketing Technology, and leading engagement with top agencies, technology and consulting companies. You will collaborate with AWS specialists and our partners to bring innovative solutions to our customers. You will build relationships to help our partners engage with and nurture their clients, differentiate their offerings, and grow their business.
This is a senior leader role managing a team of individual contributors, with global responsibility. You will be working closely with teams across AWS including product management, business development, industry solutions, partner development, solution architects, and our sales teams. You will be the face to the industry of the AWS Specialist and Partner (ASP) team and solutions, building and maintaining engagement with executives at top partners including engaging with AWS senior leadership, and representing AWS in media coverage and industry events.
You are an accomplished leader with a strong background in technology in advertising or marketing technology, experienced at building a partner ecosystem with solutions or innovation programs, and with the presence to engage with decision makers at the executive level. You will have strong business development, product management, strategic alliances, and entrepreneurial skills. You can demonstrate an ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and show prior solution and program successes.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead GTM to orchestrate sales motions for sales, marketing, partner, product, training, and professional services teams to accelerate adoption of AMT technology, thinking through challenges on a 1-3+ year time scale.
• Leverage your deep AMT expertise to create best in class field enablement and sales strategy.
• Support field teams in solution building for high priority customers.
• Bring market signals back to product teams to drive innovation on AWS product roadmaps.
• Own reporting and planning cadences to AWS executives on GTM plan execution.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.
• Lead the partner strategy and execution plan in AMT, and carry accountability for business results
• Build C-level relationships with our top partners
• Collaborate with AWS teams and with partners to bring solutions to market to meet customer needs, with measurable ROI results
• Represent the AWS partner strategy internally and externally
• Hire, coach and develop a team of top-performing senior AMT leaders
• Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on the industry including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV technology vendors

About the team
The AWS Specialist and Partner (ASP) team is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer’s most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. ASP teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of ASP, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $174,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
