The Marketing Program Manager will partner with marketing & sales leaders to help execute campaigns, programs and events that align to the marketing strategies on pipeline and revenue attainment. As part of this job, you will work on exciting and various activations across the AWS business to achieve maximum impact, execute multi-channel marketing plans, and use a data driven approach to decision making. You will also collaborate with other teams and agencies as needed. The right candidate will have a results-driven approach to marketing and a scrappy, entrepreneurial spirit.
Key job responsibilities
• Partner with sales & marketing leaders to execute on differentiated marketing programs and campaigns
• Event execution with attention to detail and customer obsession in mind
• Drive implementation of the marketing plan through team and leveraging shared services, supporting teams, and agencies as needed
• Deliver high value customer experiences focused on the customer needs and progression through the buyer’s journey
• Be empowered to Think big to deliver new ideas and creative approaches to support goals and objectives
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing materials, campaigns and resources and drive inclusion and participation of customers in programs led by other organizations
• Work with other marketing team to deliver necessary messaging, assets and campaign deliverables as needed to support marketing programs and address customer challenges
• Deliver detailed reporting and metrics on activity results, campaign effectiveness, and ROI. Use data to make real-time adjustments and proactively identify trends and opportunities
• Share plans and campaign tactics with other team members to facilitate, reuse, and replicate best practices
• Manages program budgets, ensuring compliance with internal finance policies an on-time payment to vendors
• Oversees marketing agency and vendor relationships and contracting as needed

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs
- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
