Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a veteran enterprise technical go to market (GTM) representative to deliver value for companies via AWS's analytics solutions. As a GTM specialist for this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of emerging technologies that will have an important impact on our customers' technical strategy, business goals, and their bottom line. You will work backwards from the customer's desired outcomes to discover, define, quantify, and build a plan to help customers achieve these desired outcomes by partnering with AWS. You will educate customers on "art of the possible" success stories and AWS enablers including our data warehousing (Amazon Redshift), data lake (Amazon Lake Formation), Big Data processing (Amazon EMR), search (Amazon Open Search Service), ETL (Amazon Glue), streaming (Amazon Kinesis and Amazon Managed Kafka), and visualization and serverless query (Amazon Quicksight and Athena) solutions. Then you will work with a specialized solution architect to craft a solution spanning these solutions as well as selected partner products and manage the sales process including evaluation, pricing, objection handling, navigating competitive pressures, proofs of concept and construction of a supporting business case. This role will lead a sales effort that will include teaming with AWS core sales representatives, solutions architects, product management, professional services and partners.

This role will drive an engagement and interact with business personas at the CxO/VP level. You will interact with developers and technical architects and think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges to build and convey compelling value propositions and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.

This role will include moderate travel.

Key job responsibilities
• Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory.
• Accelerate customer adoption by defining and implementing tech domain specific GTM strategies within your assigned accounts and technology domain.
• Ideate with Line of Business and C-suite leaders, building trust, and following through to help solve their most compelling business problems.
• Act as the front line within your accounts for all specialist customer engagement in your tech domain.
• Build and Innovate: Co-Develop GTM motions on new product launches and work with product teams on creation of innovative new services.
• Partner with the world’s best system integrators and consulting firms to deliver on customer projects.
Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously strengthen AWS's Data & AI value proposition
• Gather voice-of-customer insights to inform product roadmaps and enhance the customer experience
• Drives conversations to build credibility and earn trust with the account teams and customers.
• Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
• Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS analytics services.
• Accelerate customer adoption of Amazon analytics services.
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
