AWS is seeking an experienced Public Sector Account Manager to serve our transportation vertical and large greenfield customers within New York City. This individual should possess the business acumen to motivate a cross-functional team including sales, engineering, product, and alliances to achieve business growth targets.

Key job responsibilities
The Account Manager is responsible for developing impactful business relationships and setting long-term strategies to solve customer challenges and thus grow AWS revenue. In the role, you will foster deep relationships with the City's top public safety leaders, develop and manage opportunities, and facilitate a large team of extended resources to drive business growth by providing value to the customer.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
5+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
Experience developing detailed go to market plans

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $73,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives.
