We are seeking candidates who are interested in building large-scale systems that integrate across multiple sources. These products provide sales enablement to the sales team and drive business growth.

As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will mine large amounts of data, build metrics, and drive customer adoption. You will work closely with customers, product managers, and engineers to drive automated analytics, reporting, and decision making. If you love working with big data and delivering the insights you discover through business intelligence reporting, then this is the job for you.

Key job responsibilities
- Analyze data to find actionable insights that lead to business insights and opportunities.
- Build dashboards and custom reports to track performance and investigate key business questions.
- Engage with diversified customer groups to understand their needs and deliver business intelligence solutions.
- Partner with Data engineers to define the data elements that the team should leverage to enable capabilities.
- Recommend new metrics, techniques and strategies to improve the operational and quality metrics.
- Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, validation, and documentation.

Highly cross functional team that has product managers, business intelligence and full stack engineers who collectively collaborate to solve the problems faced by customers. We thrive by brainstorming and bouncing off solutions that transform the lives of our customers.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
