We are looking to hire an experienced, thoughtful, strategic Copywriter to join the Brand Innovation Lab Scaled Innovation team as we invent new ways to scale premium advertising experiences. The candidate needs to have a knack for delivering clear, compelling, straightforward, and insightful copy for advertisers and customers.

You'll partner with Product Managers, UX Designers, Front End Engineers, Program Managers, and Solutions Managers to productize components and features that generate optimized Stores pages. You'll assist on projects, present to key stakeholders, and develop work that scales to self-service advertisers. You'll leverage technology to create optimal workflows and operate well within ambiguity.

This role will use data to uncover insights, craft go-to-market materials, presentations, and creating optimized templates. You have strong presentation, and storytelling skills, as well as an acute attention to detail. You display exceptional writing skills and are able to simplify complexity.

-Experience collaborating with multi-disciplined team to create customer-focused solutions that deliver on advertiser objectives.
-Works collaboratively in developing campaigns, identifying problems, and inventing solutions with minimal guidance.
-Data-driven and obsessed with understanding customer behavior to invent and simplify.
-Create concepts, present and execute campaigns on behalf of our advertiser’s needs.
-Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting tight deadlines.

A day in the life:
-Research a client’s brand and create copy that delivers on the advertiser’s brand positioning and goals and is captivating to shoppers
-Tweak creative messaging in response to Legal and PR feedback
-Optimize UX copy for a new component or feature launching to self-service
-Support go-to-market materials for launching new products or features

About the team
The Brand Innovation Lab team is the group within Amazon that creates one-of-a-kind campaigns and experiences for global advertisers in the automotive category. Utilizing various platforms within the Amazon canvas (Alexa, Twitch, AWS, Fire TV, Amazon Fresh, Lockers, etc.), we create campaigns that reach millions of Amazon customers across our digital channels and in the real-world. The Scaled Innovation Program specifically deals with scaling products incubated within Brand Innovation Lab to a scaled model for self-service advertisers. We are the bridge between experimentation and productization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
