If so, you could be the right person for the Senior Program Manager role on the Prime Video Live Events team, leading the expansion of Live Sports Broadcasts in the US by bringing new sports leagues to Prime Video.

Key job responsibilities
As the program manager, you will be responsible for building strategic relationships with 3rd party live event content providers, and partnering with internal technical teams to onboard new and interesting content.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with various stakeholders, including global cross-functional teams within Amazon, external executive teams, and technical teams from both sides. The successful candidate will need to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats and work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and highly collaborative environment. Key activities include:
• Own partner performance metrics, holding partners accountable to Amazon delivery specifications and continuing to raise the bar on partner performance, building strategic partner relationships with partner executive teams, consistently leaving it better than you found it
• Contribute to defining product value propositions, advantages, and limitations
• Be engaged in product development with our product managers and our engineering teams, ensuring operator use cases are correctly represented
• Driving operational efficiency by continually refining operational processes and influencing Product/engineering teams to enable automation

A day in the life
You will define and execute the programs to bring new sports leagues to Prime Video and launch live events for our customers in North America. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.

About the team
The team’s core mission is to manage programs and workflows associated with delivering live content to Amazon customers. This involves interacting with sports media and metadata partners, managing workflows through the publishing process, and defining operational procedures with the goal of bringing highly engaging sports content to Prime Video customers. In addition to continuously driving and improving execution of this core mission, you will work closely with cross-functional counterparts in product management, engineering, content acquisition, operations, and executive teams to ensure the teams and systems are supporting the broader growth of our business, launching new features, developing and growing business opportunities, and enhancing our customer experience.

This role can be based in most corporate locations with preference in Seattle WA, Arlington VA, Austin TX, NYC NY, Los Angeles CA, or be virtual

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $245,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
