On Audible's Digital Audio Assets and Contracts teams, we serve a diverse range of customers, from the publishers, creators, and talent who bring audiobooks to life, to the millions of listeners who enjoy them. We're building next-generation asset delivery and contract management pipelines that are revolutionizing how we work with our content partners. We will streamline processes, enabling increased automation and dramatically increasing our capacity to handle contracts and assets. This not only improves efficiency but also unlocks the full potential of our creators to create captivating audio content and enable more diverse stories and voices for our listeners. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will...
- Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to translate requirements into technology specifications and drive the execution of software development from design to deployment
- Manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams (technology, business, marketing, and operations) using an Agile development framework, from concept to launch
- Communicate project risks, progress, launches, and retrospectives transparently to all stakeholders and teams
- Continuously strive for performance improvement and set higher standards in project execution using objective metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of experience within software
- 3+ years of experience managing agile software projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Ability to navigate an ambiguous environment
- Able to diplomatically disagree and align when dealing with different
- stakeholders
- Results oriented and with a customer focus
- Prior experience in building service oriented (SOA) distributed
- systems
- Experience leading initiatives across multiple organizations
- Prior experience in building web-based systems using Java/J2EE, Apache Tomcat
- Experience building mobile device software and/or applications
- Adept at usage of various tools such as Microsoft Project
