At Amazon's Finance Technology (FinTech) team, we build scalable, reliable, high-throughput, and low-latency data stores and AI/ML applications for liquidity management, financial exposure, and operational risk management. Our applications provide actionable predictions for Treasury, while our platform delivers datasets to evaluate the company's risk exposure and mitigation costs.
As a SDE in FinTech, you'll collaborate with machine learning scientists, software engineers, data engineers, product managers, and global finance stakeholders. You'll design and implement risk engines to calculate Amazon's risk profile and assess insurance costs. You'll also productize AWS SageMaker models, build machine learning pipelines, and create high-performing forecasting applications to help our finance teams achieve short-term and long-term financial goals.
As an SDE at Amazon, you'll design, develop, and launch core product features. You'll implement innovative ideas, raise the bar on operational excellence, software sustainability, and reliability. You'll influence product features, drive system architecture, and spearhead best practices for quality products. You'll own one or two dedicated workstreams and take them to completion. Additionally, you'll participate in our hiring process, helping to attract top talent and coach junior engineers to success.
