As a trusted customer advocate, the Global Solutions Architect (SA) will develop the technology strategy for one of our largest global enterprise customers in a complex and multi-faceted environment. You will interface with both senior executive leaders and cloud architects on a daily basis to build relationships and enable them as cloud advocates. You will help the customer design advanced cloud-based solutions, implement cutting-edge technologies, adopt cloud best practice designs, and migrate existing enterprise workloads to the cloud. You will partner with various AWS teams to craft highly scalable, flexible and resilient cloud architectures that solve customer business problems, build mindshare, and accelerate the adoption of AWS services. In collaboration with the sales team, you will drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth across a wide portfolio of industries.
The ability to connect technologies to measurable business value is a critical skill for the SA role. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business challenges and articulate technical solutions to solve those problems. As part of the broader SA community you will capture and share best practices with your peers, generate internal and external technical content, and participate in hiring activities to grow the community.
Open to traveling 25% domestic with some international.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
- Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective
