About the team
The Coordination team builds modular software that directs movement of Amazon Robotics (AR) mobile robots in the Amazon Fulfillment network. The team develops, maintains, and supports Tier-1 software that translates high-level delivery and path plans into executable commands. These commands control, monitor, and coordinate interactions of drive units across the Amazon Robotic floor and coordinate equipment interactions with the drive units. This control includes mechanisms to recover and replan work in dynamic floor conditions. The team also owns software services that maintain current drive unit status and floor safety state to present an accurate floor representation for planning and operational management.
